QA Technician
Our Client has over 40 years experience in the production of high quality metalwork for a wide variety of markets. These include Defence Ministries throughout the world, various rail networks, renewable energy providers, Nuclear sectors and the retail market.
Based in the Staffordshire area, this roles requires specific experience within Quality and Continuous Improvement.
Job Purpose:
To support the Quality function by ensuring products and processes meet required customer, internal and industry quality standards. The QA Technician will carry out inspections, maintain quality documentation, support investigations, and work closely with production teams to drive continuous improvement and ensure customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct first-off, in-process and final inspections of components and assemblies.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications of customer requirements.
- Perform dimensional inspections using measuring equipment including verniers, micrometres, height gauges and other inspection tools.
- Complete and maintain inspection reports and quality records accurately.
