We are looking for a passionate QTS KS3 Science Teacher to join a reputable secondary school in Tonbridge, Kent. This is on a 6-month temporary contract, with the opportunity to progress to a permanent role for the right candidate. About the Role This is an exciting, rare opportunity for a KS3 Science Teacher to inspire and engage their students, at a well-regarded secondary school. Working hours: 08:45 - 15:45, Monday to Friday, term time only. Fully on site. Salary: £35,000-£39,000, depending on experience. About You Previous secondary Science teaching experience - essential Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - essential Strong knowledge of the KS3 Science curriculum Confident in planning and delivering engaging, differentiated lessons A strong passion for inspiring students and developing their interest in Science Strong classroom management and communication skills, with the confidence to manage challenging behaviour effectively while maintain positive relationships with students Committed to supporting student's academic progress and well-being Committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
