Senior Electrical Engineer / NICEIC Qualified Supervisor £42,000 £46,000 + Call Out + Company Vehicle Full Time | 40 Hours | Monday to Friday Orion Building Engineering Services is looking for an experienced Senior Electrical Engineer / NICEIC Qualified Supervisor to join our growing engineering team. The role This is a varied senior electrical role working across sites including schools, offices and residential properties. You will be responsible for a mixture of electrical installation, planned maintenance, fault finding, repairs, testing and compliance, while also supporting the business with its NICEIC Qualified Supervisor requirements. Day to day, you will: Carry out electrical installations, maintenance and repair works Diagnose and resolve electrical faults Complete planned maintenance and service visits Inspect and test electrical installations in line with current regulations Accurately record test results using our electronic compliance systems Support and maintain NICEIC compliance as a Qualified Supervisor Work closely with other engineers and the wider office team Make recommendations following service visits where further works are required Provide a professional and helpful service to our customers What we're looking for You will be an experienced electrician with strong technical knowledge and confidence working independently. You will ideally have: Experience in electrical installation, maintenance, repair and testing Strong knowledge of NICEIC requirements and experience working as, or being suitable to act as, a Qualified Supervisor NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation 18th Edition Wiring Regulations Inspection & Testing 2391 or equivalent ECS Gold Card Good fault-finding and diagnostic skills Good IT skills and confidence using PDA/compliance reporting systems Full UK driving licence Ability to work independently and manage your own workload Strong customer service skills and a professional approach Experience with BMS systems, IPAF/PASMA and Solar PV qualifications would be an advantage but is not essential.
