Orion Building Engineering Services is looking for an experiencedSenior Electrical Engineer / NICEIC Qualified Supervisorto join our growing engineering team.

The role

This is a varied senior electrical role working across sites including schools, offices and residential properties.

You will be responsible for a mixture of electrical installation, planned maintenance, fault finding, repairs, testing and compliance, while also supporting the business with its NICEIC Qualified Supervisor requirements.

Day to day, you will:

• Carry out electrical installations, maintenance and repair works
• Diagnose and resolve electrical faults
• Complete planned maintenance and service visits
• Inspect and test electrical installations in line with current regulations
• Accurately record test results using our electronic compliance systems
• Support and maintain NICEIC compliance as a Qualified Supervisor
• Work closely with other engineers and the wider office team
• Make recommendations following service visits where further works are required
• Provide a professional and helpful service to our customers

What we're looking for

You will be an experienced electrician with strong technical knowledge and confidence working independently.

You will ideally have:

• Experience in electrical installation, maintenance, repair and testing
• Strong knowledge of NICEIC requirements and experience working as, or being suitable to act as, aQualified Supervisor
• NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation
• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
• Inspection & Testing 2391 or equivalent
• ECS Gold Card
• Good fault-finding and diagnostic skills
• Good IT skills and confidence using PDA/compliance reporting systems
• Full UK driving licence
• Ability to work independently and manage your own workload
• Strong customer service skills and a professional approach

Experience withBMS systems, IPAF/PASMA and Solar PV qualificationswould be an advantage but is not essential. xwzovoh
