Quality Engineer

Quality Engineer Willenhall Up to £39,000 + Benefits Dayshift Permanent We are looking for a Quality Engineer to join a well-established, AS9100/ISO9001-accredited manufacturing business. This is a great opportunity for a quality professional who wants a hands-on role covering audits, documentation, and continuous improvement across the business. The Role: * Manage and support the upkeep of the Business Management System (BMS) * Carry out internal and supplier audits, and support customer/third-party audits * Write and update processes and procedures * Create and maintain quality metrics and KPIs * Produce ISIR/FAIR documentation * Liaise with customers and suppliers on complaint handling * Lead problem resolution and root cause analysis activities * Read and interpret engineering drawings and customer specifications/POs * Support contract reviews and internal departments on quality matters What We're Looking For: * Formal engineering training/qualification * Strong problem resolution and root cause analysis skills * Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings * Experience with AS9100/ISO9001 (audit training desirable) * Process and procedure writing experience desirable * CMM equipment knowledge and Visio software experience desirable * Strong organisational skills and a self-sufficient, methodical approach * Confident communicator, comfortable liaising across departments and with customers What's On Offer: * Salary up to £39,000, depending on experience * Permanent position with a stable, established engineering employer * Opportunity to develop within a recognised Quality department Interested in finding out more?
