Quality Inspector Aldershot, Hampshire £33,000 - £39,000 DOE Permanent Dayshift Actio Engineering Recruitment are delighted to be supporting a highly established precision engineering company in Aldershot in their search for a Quality Inspector to join their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity to join a busy and successful business working on a wide variety of precision machined components. The Role As a Quality Inspector, you will play a key part in ensuring products meet the highest quality standards throughout the manufacturing process. This is a varied position covering the full inspection cycle, from incoming goods through to final inspection. Duties will include: * Visual and dimensional inspection of precision machined components. * First-off, in-process and final inspection activities. * Incoming goods inspection of raw materials and components prior to release to production. * Dealing with NCRs and liaising with clients * Working closely with machinists and production teams to ensure quality requirements are met throughout manufacture. * Operating manual inspection equipment and CMM machinery.. * Completion of inspection reports and quality documentation. * Ensuring compliance with customer specifications, drawings and quality standards. About You We are keen to hear from candidates with: * Previous experience within a Quality Inspector position in a precision engineering or machining environment. * Strong visual and dimensional inspection skills. * Experience inspecting precision machined components. * Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings. * Experience using standard inspection equipment such as micrometers, verniers, height gauges and gauges. * CMM experience, ideally with Aberlink software, although training can be provided. * A proactive approach and strong attention to detail. Salary * Salary of £33,000 - £39,000 depending on experience. * Permanent, full-time position. * Dayshift working pattern. * Early finish every Friday. * Training and support provided. * Opportunity to work on a diverse range of projects and components.
