Quality Inspector

We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established business for a Quality Inspector. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in precision inspection and a passion for delivering excellence. You will be responsible for ensuring components, assemblies, and finished goods meet strict quality standards, using a variety of tools and inspection methods. Whats on Offer? Job type: Full time, permanent Location: Eastbourne Salary: Competitive Key Responsibilities : Carry out dimensional and visual inspection of components and assemblies to engineering drawings using relevant tools and equipment Test and validate components Perform weld inspections to ensure compliance with quality standards Identify and record any non-conforming features, initiating corrective action and supporting root cause analysis to prevent recurrence Inspect finished goods before dispatch to ensure customer requirements are met Work collaboratively across teams to improve manufacturing processes Maintain and update quality metrics and KPIs to drive continuous improvement Skills, Experience, and Training Requirements : Minimum 3 years experience in a machine shop or manufacturing environment Strong understanding of ISO 9001 standards Familiarity with quality and process improvement tools Ability to interpret technical drawings and engineering specifications Self-motivated and able to work independently Detail-oriented with excellent organisational skills Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach Effective team player with good listening and communication skills Confident in delivering technical information clearly and accurately How to Apply: If you have the skills, experience, and commitment to quality that we are looking for, apply today with your CV or contact us to discuss further.
