Quality Systems & Compliance Manager 📍 Liverpool 💰 Up to £55,000 📅 12‑month FTC (Maternity Cover) - IMMEDIATE START required 👥 Line management: Team of 3 We’re supporting a specialised nutrition manufacturer in Liverpool as they look for an energetic, forward‑thinking Quality Systems & Compliance Manager to lead their QMS and drive a strong Culture of Quality across the site. If you’re a confident decision‑maker with fresh ideas, resilience, and a real passion for Quality, this role gives you the platform to influence, improve and protect product quality, consumer safety and regulatory compliance. What you’ll do * Lead and enhance the site Quality Management System (QMS) * Ensure audit readiness (FDA, FSSC, ISO, EHO, Trading Standards) * Govern change management, risk assessments and internal audits * Oversee complaints, product registrations, food defence & food fraud * Manage raw material approval and supplier quality * Drive a strong Culture of Quality across all functions * Lead, coach and develop a team of three What you’ll bring * Proven line management experience * Background in food or pharmaceutical manufacturing * Strong QMS, compliance and audit expertise * Confident communicator who can influence and have tough conversations * High energy, fresh ideas and a genuine passion for Quality & QA If you are an experienced QA Team Leader or QA Manager looking for a fresh challenge then please apply now
