Quantity Surveyor

About the Role: I'm working with a leading national office fit-out contractor who are looking to appoint an Intermediate Quantity Surveyor to join their commercial team, based out of their Bristol office. The company delivers high-quality CAT A and CAT B fit-out projects across the UK for blue-chip clients, and due to continued growth, they’re looking to strengthen their QS team in the South West. Role Overview: This is a fantastic opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor with experience in interior fit-outs or general commercial build to step into a role with strong autonomy and progression prospects. You'll work on a mix of pre- and post-contract responsibilities, managing costs and subcontractors across multiple projects. Key Responsibilities: * Preparing cost plans, budgets, and tender documentation * Managing subcontractor procurement and accounts * Preparing valuations and processing applications for payment * Monitoring project costs and reporting on financial performance * Managing variations, change control, and final accounts * Working closely with project managers, designers, and site teams Requirements: * 3–5 years’ experience in Quantity Surveying, ideally with a fit-out or interiors contractor * HNC/Degree in Quantity Surveying or related field * Strong commercial awareness and attention to detail * Confident managing packages independently across multiple projects * Good working knowledge of JCT contracts * Based within commuting distance of Bristol * Full UK driving licence What’s on Offer: * Competitive salary and tailored benefits package * A clear route for progression in a well-structured national business * Diverse, fast-paced projects with high-profile clients * Supportive, professional environment with strong leadership Interested?
