Quantity Surveyor or Senior Quantity Surveyor Civil Engineering & Groundworks packages PERMANENT Salary £50,000 - £80,000 + Package Quantity Surveyor or Senior Quantity Surveyor needed to manage the cost controls and cost reporting 1 - 3 civil engineering and groundworks projects, each valued at circa £1m - £6m Quantity Surveyor should be self sufficient and be able to manage their own workload and responsibilities. A mixture of site based and office working * Sites are within generally 30 miles of the Worcester areas * Reporting to Commercial Director * Working for a very established business with a healthy order book and forward works * All clients are large blue chip construction organisations Duties: * Project Commercial Management * On site measurement, valuations and variations * Building client relationships * Monthly cost value reconciliations * Final account preparations * Negotiating Company Profile: One of the regions best known and respected Civil Engineering,Earthworks and Groundworks contractors that operates on projects ranging from £1m - £8m in value across the region Covering civil engineering and groundworks across varying sectors includiing: Defence Healthcare Retail Commercial Education Heavy Industry Storage and Logistics Technology Works will typically include Bulk excavation Ground remediation Ground beams and floorslabs Pilecaps Foundations Specialist tanking installation Retaining walls Substructures & Reinforced concrete sub-structures Reinforced concrete super-structure Complex formwork installations Basements Refurbishments External works Hard and Soft Landsaping Rewards Salary to suit experience level – circa up to £50,000 - £80,000 + car package, Pension, Holidays, etc
