Quantity SurveyorDagenham, RM10 7FN | Permanent, full time | Hybrid — minimum 3 days per week at The Cube | £60,000–£65,000This is a client-side Quantity Surveyor role, working on BD Group's own capital works programme rather than chasing margin on someone else's contract.BD Group was created by the London Borough of Barking & Dagenham to deliver positive economic, environmental and social change. We provide facilities, construction and property services across London and the Southeast. Our Capital Works team delivers projects across housing, corporate property and regeneration assets, for the borough, BD Group entities and third-party clients.The job You'll cover the full commercial lifecycle: cost planning and procurement through to valuations, contract administration and final accounts, working under JCT and NEC. That means monitoring costs against budget, validating payment applications, running variations and compensation events, and producing the cost reports project boards and clients rely on. You'll also contribute to tender preparation, pricing schedules and bills of quantities, and support contractor selection.What you'll need

• Experience as a Quantity Surveyor, Assistant Quantity Surveyor or Commercial Surveyor in construction, capital works, property, regeneration, housing or asset management
