Quantity Surveyor - Dorset We are currently recruiting for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join an established construction business based in Dorset. The Role As Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for the commercial management of projects from pre-construction through to completion, ensuring costs are controlled and projects are delivered profitably. Key Responsibilities * Managing project costs, budgets and forecasts. * Preparing estimates, tenders and commercial reports. * Procuring and managing subcontractor packages. * Valuing works, variations and applications for payment. * Managing subcontractor accounts and final accounts. * Monitoring project performance and identifying commercial risks. * Working closely with project teams, clients and supply chain partners. About You * Previous experience as a Quantity Surveyor within the construction sector. * Strong commercial and contractual awareness. * Excellent negotiation and communication skills. * Good attention to detail and financial acumen. * Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines. * Relevant qualifications or professional membership desirable.
