Quantity Surveyor – Drylining
London £65,000–£80,000 + Package
An established and growing multi-discipline contractor is looking to appoint an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join its drylining division. The business operates across drylining, façades, cladding and interiors, working with leading developers and main contractors throughout London and the Home Counties.
The drylining division delivers packages ranging from £2m to £12m across large-scale residential, commercial, hotel and leisure developments.
The Role
Working closely with the commercial, operational and technical teams, you will take commercial responsibility for drylining packages, with duties including:
* Pre-construction and tendering
* Cost planning and commercial reporting
* Procurement and subcontractor management
* Preparing and managing valuations
* Identifying, pricing and negotiating variations
* CVRs and cost forecasting
* Contract administration
* Client negotiation and commercial meetings
* Managing project cash flow and profitability
* Final account preparation and negotiation
* Working closely with Project Managers to ensure successful commercial delivery
The Candidate
You must have a proven commercial background within the drylining/subcontracting sector, ideally having worked for a reputable specialist contractor on similar-sized packages.
Strong subcontractor experience is essential, alongside excellent negotiation, commercial and client-facing skills. The successful candidate will be comfortable taking ownership of projects and working within a fast-paced contracting environment.
Package
£65,000–£80,000 + package, depending on experience.
