Durham | Hybrid Working (2 Days from Home)
£50,479 per annum + £2,142 Car Allowance
37 Hours per Week | Permanent

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join a growing asset management team delivering a significant programme of planned investment works across residential properties and communities. With a substantial capital investment programme underway, this role offers the chance to make a real impact while benefiting from flexible hybrid working arrangements.

The Role

As Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for providing commercial and contractual support across a range of planned maintenance and investment projects. You will play a key role in ensuring projects are delivered on budget, risks are effectively managed, and value for money is achieved throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities of the Quantity Surveyor:

Managing valuations, variations, certifications and final accounts.
Supporting contract administration and ensuring compliance with contractual and financial requirements.
Monitoring budgets, cashflow and commercial performance.
Assisting with tender documentation, pricing schedules and procurement activities.
Conducting site visits and inspections of works in progress.
Identifying and managing commercial risks and opportunities.
Supporting continuous improvement and delivering value for money across projects.The Successful Quantity Surveyor will have:

Chartered status, a relevant degree, or substantial equivalent experience in a similar position.
A proven track record in quantity surveying, contract administration, procurement and budget management within the construction sector.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
