Role Information

We are recruiting for Quantity Surveyors to join a leading organisation delivering major infrastructure and nuclear projects across the UK. Working within a highly experienced commercial team, you will play a key role in managing project costs, supporting commercial performance, and ensuring successful project delivery across multi-disciplinary design and construction programmes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing cost planning, budgeting and cost control throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Preparing, negotiating and administering contracts, subcontracts and variations.
  • Producing accurate cost reports, forecasts and financial analysis.
  • Identifying commercial risks and implementing effective mitigation strategies.
  • Building strong working relationships with clients, contractors and suppliers.
  • Ensuring projects are delivered in line with contractual requirements, industry regulations and company standards.
  • Supporting the successful delivery of complex infrastructure and nuclear projects.

Qualifications/Experience Required

  • Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline.
  • Previous Quantity Surveying experience within construction, infrastructure or nuclear projects.
  • Strong understanding of construction contracts, procurement methods and commercial management.
  • Experience managing project costs, budgets and financial reporting.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within multi-disciplinary project teams.
  • Experience using commercial and project management software is advantageous.
