Quantity Surveyor Newquay 12 Month Fixed Term Contract Up to £60,000 + Benefits Sphere Solutions are working with a well-established development and regeneration contractor to recruit an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their commercial team based in Newquay. Key Responsibilities * Manage the commercial delivery of refurbishment and regeneration projects * Prepare cost plans, valuations, forecasts and monthly cost reports * Procure and manage subcontractor packages * Negotiate subcontract agreements and manage contract administration * Assess subcontractor applications, variations and final accounts * Prepare and submit applications for payment * Monitor project budgets, cash flow and commercial performance * Identify commercial risks and opportunities throughout the project lifecycle * Build strong relationships with clients, consultants and subcontractors * Support project teams to achieve successful commercial outcomes About You * Previous experience as a Quantity Surveyor within a main contractor or refurbishment contractor * Experience delivering refurbishment, regeneration or commercial construction projects * Strong knowledge of construction contracts and commercial processes * Excellent negotiation, communication and organisational skills * Commercially astute with strong attention to detail * Full UK Driving Licence What's on Offer? * Salary up to £60,000 depending on experience * 22 days annual leave plus bank holidays * Long term local work on prestigious projects * There is a chance this will turn into a permanent role depending on future works Apply Today For a confidential discussion about this opportunity, please contact Abbie or Jo on (phone number removed), or apply today with your CV.
