Quantity Surveyor | Main contractor | Essex | Up to £80,000 + Package   I’m working with a smaller, established contractor who are looking to appoint an experienced Quantity Surveyor to take commercial responsibility across a varied portfolio of projects.   This is an all-round commercial role covering both pre and post-contract duties, with projects ranging from smaller works through to approximately £2m across commercial, public sector and residential refurbishment.   The Role Preparing estimates and tender submissions Procurement of subcontractors, labour, materials and plant Commercial management of projects from tender through to final account Preparing interim valuations and pricing variations Managing project costs and protecting commercial margins Working directly with clients and their representatives Producing and agreeing profitable final accounts  What they're looking for Experienced Quantity Surveyor with an all-round contracting background Strong refurbishment experience Comfortable with both estimating/pre-construction and project QS duties Experience across commercial, public sector and/or residential projects advantageous Able to independently manage projects up to approximately £2m Commercially minded and comfortable working within a smaller contractor environment  The Business Small, established contractor Varied workload across commercial, public sector and residential Predominantly refurbishment projects Opportunity for significant autonomy and direct involvement across the full project lifecycle  Interested?
