Job title: Senior Quantity Surveyor

Start date: ASAP – Subject to vetting

Pay rate: £60,000 - £70,000pa + Car Allowance

Location: Seascale, Cumbria

Hybrid/Remote Working: Fully on site

Hours of work: 40 hours per week

Role information:

- To take supervised responsibility for the commercial function on a project or section of a project

- To contribute to a result as agreed with local commercial management

- To protect the company’s position throughout 360 degree relationships

- To carry out commercial tasks and present results in an orderly and accurate format

Qualifications/Experience Required

- Strong understanding of the nuclear industry

- Proficient with NEC3/4 suite of contracts

- Strong stakeholder management skills

- Proactively contribute to the commercial success of the project and thus the business

- Prepare applications xwzovoh and reports

- Review incoming accounts and correspondence and react accordingly

- Manage specified subcontract accounts and support senior commercial staff in negotiations

- Agree a personal development plan and deliver the objectives

Vetting Status – Ability to gain SC Clearance
