An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Building Surveyor to join our Leeds office, delivering projects across the retail, commercial, industrial, education and residential sectors. As part of our Built Asset Consultancy team, you will take a leading role in project and professional service delivery, working with an established client base while contributing to the continued growth of the business. This role offers strong career progression, with advancement driven by performance, client delivery and leadership. We are seeking a proactive and commercially minded individual who can take ownership of projects, build client relationships and support junior team members. As a Senior Building Surveyor, your responsibilities will include: Leading the preparation of building survey reports and technical advice for clients Undertaking inspections and preparing Schedules of Condition Acting as Contract Administrator to deliver refurbishment and fit-out projects Undertaking party wall instructions, including inspections and negotiations Acting in a Tenant's Surveyor capacity on development projects Managing client relationships and ensuring successful project outcomes Undertaking site inspections across the UK as required Degree in Building Surveying (or equivalent experience) Strong track record in both professional and project-led services Proven experience in contract administration and project delivery Ability to manage multiple projects independently Strong client-facing skills and commercial awareness Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel Experience within retail, commercial or industrial sectors Awareness of the Building Safety Act and associated duty holder roles No agencies please.
