Quantity Surveyor – Water Utilities Role Purpose The Quantity Surveyor is responsible for the commercial management of water utility infrastructure projects, ensuring that projects are delivered within budget while maximising value and maintaining contractual compliance. The role supports the delivery of clean water, wastewater, sewerage, treatment works, pumping stations, pipeline, and network infrastructure projects from pre-construction through to final account. The Quantity Surveyor will work closely with project managers, engineers, clients, subcontractors, and commercial teams to manage costs, mitigate risks, and support successful project delivery. Key Responsibilities Commercial Management * Manage the commercial aspects of multiple water utility projects. * Prepare, monitor, and report project budgets and cost forecasts. * Produce accurate cost reports and cash flow forecasts. * Measure and value completed works. * Monitor project profitability and identify opportunities for cost savings. * Support financial reporting and month-end commercial processes.
