We're looking for a Quarry Supervisor to join our team at Wellington Quarry in Hereford where you'll play a key role in overseeing daily operations, leading a skilled team, and ensuring our quarry continues to operate safely, efficiently and productively. If you want the opportunity to work with a leading UK construction materials business taking ownership of day-to-day quarry operations and site performance, leading and developing a multi-skilled team then this is the role for you. As Quarry Supervisor you'll be responsible for supporting the management of a busy sand and gravel operation, ensuring production targets are achieved safely and efficiently while maintaining the highest operational standards. Supporting the safe and efficient operation of mobile crushing and screening plants along with other mobile plant equipment Working closely with other Plant Supervisors to maximise plant availability, performance and productivity Using operational systems including SAP, Fortek, Excel and similar platforms Supporting general plant maintenance and housekeeping activities We're keen to hear from candidates who have experience within quarrying, aggregates, asphalt, mining, recycling or other heavy manufacturing / industrial processing environment. Suitable candidates will have experience effectively supervising teams within a production or operational environment. A strong understanding of quarry operations and associated health and safety requirements Confidence building relationships with colleagues and stakeholders at all levels Ability and passion to inspire your team, drive operational performance and create an environment where everyone can succeed Flexible, hands-on approach with the ability to lead from the front Experience operating or maintaining Excavators, Front-end loaders, Dump trucks and Fixed and mobile crushing and screening plants (advantageous) Whatever your background, experience or career path, you'll find opportunities to develop, grow and make a real impact.
