Our Product Development team works across a diverse range of military and commercial aerospace programmes and benefits from access to:Advanced CAD, CFD and FEA analysis toolsHigh-performance computing resourcesRapid prototyping and additive manufacturing facilitiesBespoke in-house development and environmental testing equipmentCollaborative multidisciplinary engineering teamsOpportunities to work directly with customers and influence future product developmentThis is an ideal opportunity for an engineer who enjoys tackling challenging technical problems, taking ownership of complex projects, and seeing products progress from initial concepts to certified aerospace hardware.What You'll Be DoingAs a Senior Product Development Engineer, you will act as a technical focal point across product development programmes, providing engineering leadership throughout the development lifecycle.Owning the technical development of aerospace products from early concept through to flight qualification,Translating customer requirements into robust engineering solutions, along with customer facing activitiesSupporting the design and development of high-performance electrohydraulic aerospace components.Coordinating technical activities and engineering deliverables to support successful product development.Leading technical investigations and problem-solving activities to resolve complex engineering challenges.Coordinating development and qualification testing.Working closely with manufacturing, quality, test, programme management and supply chain teams to ensure successful product delivery.What We're Looking ForEssentialDegree qualified in Mechanical, Aerospace, Systems or a related Engineering discipline.Experience leading technical activities throughout a structured product development lifecycle.Strong understanding of verification, validation and qualification testing.Ability to translate customer requirements into practical engineering solutions.Familiarity with APQP or equivalent product development methodologies.Experience using Siemens NX or similar CAD software.Experience with Mathcad, CFD, FEA or other engineering analysis tools.Project planning experience, including MS Project.Security ClearanceBaseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) clearance is required and must be maintained for this role.
