Band 6 Radiographer We are proud to be supporting an NHS organisation in the recruitment of a Band 6 General Radiographer for a short-term assignment within a busy Imaging Department. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced radiographer to join a well-established team and contribute to the delivery of high-quality diagnostic and interventional services. The successful candidate will bring broad radiography experience, including a strong background in interventional radiography, and be confident working in a fast-paced NHS environment. Key Responsibilities * Perform a range of diagnostic imaging examinations. * Support interventional radiology procedures. * Produce high-quality diagnostic images. * Ensure patient safety and dignity at all times. * Prepare patients for imaging and procedures. * Operate imaging equipment safely and effectively. * Comply with IR(ME)R and radiation protection standards. * Maintain accurate patient records. * Work closely with multidisciplinary teams. * Support service quality and continuous improvement. Essential Requirements * BSc in Diagnostic Radiography or equivalent. * HCPC registration as a Radiographer. * Experience across general radiography services. * Proven experience in interventional radiography. * Strong knowledge of IR(ME)R and radiation safety. * Previous NHS experience. * Excellent communication and patient care skills. * Ability to work independently and manage a busy workload What's on Offer * Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm schedule. * No weekends or on-call commitments. * Supportive and experienced team. * Modern NHS imaging environment. * Valuable Band 6 experience.
