Overview
The Radnorshire Rivers project aims to restore and reconnect Radnorshire’s riparian habitats, strengthening their role as vital corridors for wildlife. Working with local farmers and landowners, the project will evidence both the need and the success for a change in land management use, within three identified priority zones along key Radnorshire rivers.
Responsibilities
- Lead the delivery of the project focusing on practical ecological work and collaboration with stakeholders.
- Coordinate activities with local farmers and landowners to implement ecological restoration and improved land management in priority zones.
Qualifications
- Strong understanding of conservation and farming practices.
- Empathetic to the challenges faced by local communities and able to build trust and collaboration to achieve lasting ecological outcomes.
Program details
The project is funded by the Nature Networks Programme and is being delivered by the Heritage Fund, on behalf of the Welsh Government.
