Primary Teacher - EYFS Job Title: Reception Class Teacher – Full-Time Job Role: Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Teacher – Reception Location: Rickmansworth, Hertfordshire Start Date: September 2026 Contract Type: Full-time Salary: £35,602–£48,479 About the Role We are seeking a dedicated, enthusiastic and passionate Reception Class Teacher to join a welcoming primary school in Rickmansworth from September 2026. This full-time role involves teaching in Reception, where you will have the opportunity to inspire young learners and make a lasting impact on their academic, social and personal development. The successful candidate will be committed to delivering engaging and creative lessons in the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), fostering a positive and inclusive classroom environment, and supporting all children to thrive and reach their full potential. Key Responsibilities Plan and deliver engaging lessons across the Reception/EYFS curriculum. Support pupils’ academic, social and emotional development. Differentiate learning to meet the needs of all pupils. Monitor and assess pupil progress, providing clear feedback and next steps. Create a positive, inclusive and well-managed classroom environment. Work collaboratively with colleagues, support staff and parents. Contribute positively to the wider life of the school. Requirements Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential. Early Career Teachers (ECTs) are welcome to apply and will be fully supported. Experience teaching in Reception/EYFS is desirable. Strong understanding of the EYFS curriculum. Excellent classroom management and communication skills. A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
