Recruitment Resourcer and Administrator

The team work closely with Local Authorities across the UK to supply experienced Social Workers. The team operates in a highly collaborative and energetic environment, with a strong focus on relationship-building, speed, and accuracy.
You’ll be joining a knowledgeable group of consultants who are passionate about supporting the public sector and who maintain trusted, long-standing relationships with both candidates and hiring managers. The QSW market moves quickly, so you’ll gain strong exposure to volume resourcing, candidate management, compliance processes, and the day‑to‑day workings of a specialist recruitment function.

What You’ll Be Doing
As a Recruitment Resourcer, you’ll play a key part in identifying, engaging, and supporting candidates throughout the recruitment process. Your responsibilities will include:
- Sourcing Qualified Social Worker candidates daily across Local Authorities
- Making and receiving regular phone calls, building a confident and professional telephone manner
- Assisting with initial candidate conversations and pre-screens to assess suitability, availability, and interest
- Creating targeted attraction campaigns using job boards, LinkedIn, CV databases, and social media
- Drafting and posting engaging job adverts
- Helping to build and maintain talent pools based on location, specialism, availability, and rate expectations
- Maintaining regular contact with candidates through calls, messages, and check-ins
- Ensuring accurate and up-to-date candidate records in the system
- Tracking candidate contract end dates and upcoming availability
- Reviewing CVs for completeness and flagging necessary updates
- Assisting with baseline compliance checks before consultant review
- Identifying strong or responsive candidates for urgent roles and flagging to the Consultant
- Supporting the management of pipelines, shortlists, and weekly reporting
- Categorising candidates correctly for effective searching and future campaigns
- Sending follow-up messages, interview confirmations, and reminders
- Refreshing and reposting adverts to ensure strong visibility
- Managing daily tasks using effective organisation and time management
- Flagging any concerns around candidate availability, rates, or compliance
- Working closely with the Consultant and wider team to ensure xwzovoh a smooth recruitment process
What We’re Looking For
- Strong communication skills and confidence speaking on the phone
- Excellent organisation and time management
- Proactive, positive, and eager to learn
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced recruitment environment
- Prior resourcing or recruitment experience is beneficial, but not essential.
