Regional Coach - East Midlands U18 Girls

England Golf is inviting applications for the position of a contracted regional coach for the East Midlands region U18 girl's squad. Each regional squad will comprise of players selected at assessment days following an open application process and will generally be for players under 18 years of age.

The role is based on annual coaching, with the number of days dependent upon the number of selected squad members, with attendance at selection days, the England Golf coach education days and any relevant team meetings.

Essential Experience and Knowledge:

• PGA qualified golf coach, working towards the highest levels of coach education qualifications;
• Have shown a significant commitment to Continued Professional Development (CPD) and can evidence a comprehensive attendance record;
• Several years of experience working with elite age group level golfers in a performance environment;
• Access to and experienced use of a range of coaching equipment relevant to the development of elite level performers;
• Excellent communication and management skills;

England Golf Safeguarding and Protecting Children Requirements

This role has been identified as involving access to vulnerable adults and/or children and in line with England Golf policy persons undertaking this role will be required to undertake a Disclosure & Barring Service Disclosure Check and must also have attended a Safeguarding and Protecting Children course (SPC) or be willing to undertake one.
