Were currently looking for a Regional QHSE Manager to join on our Team. The Regional QHSE Manager will assist sites in understanding and meeting legal, company and customer requirements, while promoting consistent application of XPO policies, procedures and management systems. The role requires regular travel across the region and may include national support, overnight stays and attendance at other XPO locations where business needs require. Were looking to offer a salary up to £51,000 depending upon experience plus a car allowance. In addition, we offer 25 days holiday (plus bank holidays), as well as the option to buy additional days. Youll have access to a variety of high street discounts as well as a cycle to work scheme, a workplace pension and many other perks Conduct regular site visits, safety walks and reviews, escalating significant or unresolved risks to the QHSE Business Unit Partner. Keep up to date with new legislation and maintain a working knowledge of all Health and Safety Executive (HSE) legislation. Risk Assessments and Safe Systems of Work Review and support the development of suitable and sufficient risk assessments, method statements and Safe Systems of Work. Ensure controls reflect actual operations and are reviewed following incidents, changes or emerging risks. Legal and Company Compliance Support sites in meeting applicable legal, customer and XPO QHSE requirements. Assist with the implementation of policies, procedures, statutory inspections and appropriate compliance records. Work closely with QHSE BUP and the Company solicitors with respect to claims and litigation. Conduct or support internal audits, compliance inspections and site gap analyses. Support the reporting and investigation of incidents, near misses, vehicle collisions, environmental events and quality failures. Review investigation quality, root causes and corrective actions, and communicate relevant learning across the Business Unit. Performance Monitoring and Reporting Review QHSE performance data to identify trends, recurring events and areas requiring intervention. Support the preparation of Business Unit reports, scorecards and improvement plans, including accurate use of Evotix. Training, Briefings and Engagement Deliver QHSE training, toolbox talks, workshops and management briefings. Operational and Project Support Support operational meetings, customer requirements and wider Business Unit projects nationally when required. Assist sites in managing waste, fuel, spills, pollution risks, energy, water and environmental reporting. Support environmental incident response and promote practical improvements in resource efficiency and sustainability performance. Quality Management Support the implementation of quality management processes. Assist sites with corrective actions, document control and continual improvement activities. Where appropriately qualified, provide guidance on ADR, IMDG and company dangerous goods procedures. NEBOSH National General Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety, or an equivalent recognised qualification. Practical understanding of transport and site-based operational risks. Ability to understand and balance QHSE requirements with the operational and commercial needs of a site. Competent IT skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Ability to review risk assessments, Safe Systems of Work and operational procedures. Willingness to travel regularly, including possible overnight stays. Full UK driving licence. Dangerous Goods Safety Adviser qualification. IMDG training or practical experience of maritime dangerous goods requirements.
