Registered General Nurse (RGN) Days or Nights Available Hemel Hempstead, Hertfordshire £23.92 per hour + Benefits Full-Time, Permanent We are a specialist family run award winning healthcare recruitment company recruiting on behalf of an award winning, highly respected elderly care home provider in Hemel Hempstead. We are seeking a compassionate and clinically skilled Registered General Nurse (RGN) to join a well-established nursing team delivering exceptional person-centred care. We welcome applications from nurses looking for either day or night shifts, with flexibility being highly valued. Newly qualified nurses with ideally 12 months experience with the right attitude and commitment to learning will also be considered. About the Registered General Nurse RGN Role As a Registered General Nurse, you will take responsibility for the clinical care and wellbeing of residents, ensuring the highest standards of nursing practice are maintained at all times. This role would suit a confident and professional nurse who enjoys working autonomously, leading care teams, and building meaningful relationships with residents and their families. Key Responsibilities for a Registered General Nurse RGN Deliver high-quality nursing care in line with NMC guidelines Undertake clinical assessments and care planning Administer and manage medications safely Lead and support care staff during shifts Monitor residents' health and respond appropriately to changing needs Liaise effectively with GPs, hospitals, families and multidisciplinary teams Maintain accurate clinical records and documentation Promote a safe, caring and supportive environment for residents Registered General Nurse RGN Requirements Active NMC registration as an RGN Strong clinical and decision-making skills Ability to lead and manage shifts independently Excellent communication and leadership abilities Experience in elderly care, care homes, community nursing or similar settings is desirable Experience in any of the following would be advantageous: Wound care management Venepuncture Catheter care Oxygen therapy End-of-life care What's on Offer?
