We are currently recruiting for an experienced Registered Manager to lead a brand-new 2-bed childrens residential home supporting young people aged 717 with emotional and behavioural needs.
This is a unique opportunity to take full ownership of a service from the outset, building a stable team and delivering high-quality, therapeutic care.
About the Role
As Registered Manager, you will be responsible for the overall leadership and management of the home, ensuring a safe, nurturing environment where young people can thrive.
You will play a key role in:
Setting up and developing the home
Building and leading a high-performing staff team
Embedding a child-centred, trauma-informed approach
Ensuring compliance with Ofsted regulations and safeguarding standards
Driving positive outcomes for young people
Registered Managers are responsible for maintaining standards, safeguarding, and ensuring quality care in line with regulations and best practice
Key Responsibilities
Manage the day-to-day operations of the home
Lead, supervise, and develop staff
Ensure all care plans, risk assessments, and documentation are maintained
Promote positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing
Liaise with local authorities, families, and external professionals
Maintain full regulatory compliance
Requirements
Experience working within childrens residential care
Previous experience as a Registered Manager or Deputy Manager
Strong knowledge of Ofsted and safeguarding frameworks
Leadership xwzovoh skills with the ability to build and motivate teams
Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management (or working towards)
Full UK driving licence (preferred)
