Registered Manager - Nursing Home

What the role involves
Day-to-day leadership and management of a large nursing home for older adults
Registration with CQC as the Registered Manager
Leading, supervising, and developing the staff team across all departments
Maintaining high standards of care, quality, and regulatory compliance
Managing admissions, occupancy, and relationships with commissioners and referrers
Managing budgets, staffing costs, and resources effectively
Promoting a positive, open, and supportive workplace culture
What we are looking for
Proven experience managing or deputy managing a care home, ideally with nursing
Experience working with and leading clinical teams. Nursing registration is welcome but not essential
Strong working knowledge of CQC regulations and inspection frameworks
Effective leadership and people management skills
Sound understanding of budgets, occupancy, and care home operations
Competent with digital care systems and standard office software
Excellent communication skills with staff, families, and external professionals
