The Role As a Registered Veterinary Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to patients throughout their treatment journey. You will work closely with Veterinary Surgeons and the wider team to ensure excellent clinical standards and a positive experience for both patients and their owners. Your responsibilities will include: Providing high-quality nursing care to inpatients and surgical patients Assisting Veterinary Surgeons with consultations, procedures and operations Monitoring anaesthesia and recovering patients safely Preparing patients for surgery and providing post-operative care Administering medications and treatments as directed Supporting diagnostic procedures and clinical investigations Maintaining accurate patient records Ensuring high standards of cleanliness, hygiene and infection control Communicating professionally with clients and providing appropriate advice Supporting and mentoring colleagues where required Contributing to a positive, collaborative and patient-focused working environment About You We are looking for an RVN who is passionate about veterinary nursing and committed to providing exceptional standards of patient care. You will ideally have: An RVN qualification and current RCVS registration Previous experience within a veterinary practice or hospital environment Strong clinical and organisational skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills A compassionate and professional approach to patient and client care The ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team A proactive attitude and willingness to continue developing your skills TPBN1_UKTJ
