- £475 per day, Outside IR35 Duration: 12 months Start: ASAP Key words: Resident Engineer, Civil Engineer, Civil Works, ITP, QA/QC, TWC, HSG47, Renewable Energy infrastructure Turner Lovell is recruiting a Resident Engineer to support the delivery of civil works on a major infrastructure project in Norfolk.

The requirement is for someone who can be heavily involved on site, overseeing engineering delivery, monitoring construction against the design and specifications, managing technical issues and acting as a key engineering interface between the various parties on the project.

Responsibilities Oversee and inspect civil and groundworks activities.

Ensure subcontractors are working to approved designs, RAMS and specifications.

Review and monitor ITPs, QA/QC and quality documentation.

Carry out site inspections, including line and level checks.

Support Temporary Works Coordination (TWC) and HSG47 requirements.

Review Contractor TQs and provide practical technical solutions.

Monitor progress, identify issues and support the close-out of defects and documentation.

Requirements 5 years' experience on major UK civil/infrastructure projects.

Civil Engineering qualification or equivalent experience.

Experience on £10m civil packages, ideally within HV substations, converter stations or energy infrastructure.

Strong understanding of ITPs, QA/QC and construction inspections.

Experience with Temporary Works and HSG47.

CSCS, TWC and HSG47.

Strong communication skills and ability to work independently on site. xwzovoh
