We are currently recruiting Residential Childcare & Young People's Support Workers to support vulnerable children and young people across the Morpeth area. You will be supporting young people with a range of additional needs, including SEND (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities), Autism, ADHD, Learning Disabilities, and SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health) needs.

The Role
As a Residential Childcare & Young People's Support Worker, you will provide high-quality care and support within residential and community-based settings, ensuring young people feel safe, valued, and supported.
We can offer a variety of shift patterns, including:
Day shifts
Long day shifts
Waking night shifts
Sleep-in shifts
Weekend workApplicants must be able to commit to a minimum of 24 hours per week, with flexibility available across different shift patterns.
Key Responsibilities
Providing person-centred support tailored to individual needs
Building positive, professional relationships with young people
Supporting daily routines, education, and social activities
Encouraging independence, life skills, and personal development
Supporting emotional wellbeing and positive behaviour management
Maintaining accurate records and reports
Working collaboratively with families, schools, and healthcare professionals
Safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people at all times
