What you'll do As a Children's Residential Support Worker, you will: Support children and young people with their daily routines Help with education, activities and independence skills Provide emotional support and positive encouragement Help create a calm, safe and nurturing home Follow individual care and support plans Maintain clear and accurate records Work closely with colleagues and other professionals Support young people to build confidence and develop life skills Maintain clear and professional boundaries at all times The role includes shifts, weekends and sleep-ins. About you You may already have experience in: Children's residential care Youth work Support work Education support Mental health support Autism, ADHD, EBD or learning disability support Previous children's residential experience is not essential because full training and support will be provided. What matters most is that you are: Calm, caring and emotionally resilient Reliable and able to work as part of a team Confident maintaining professional boundaries Able to work shifts, weekends and sleep-ins Committed to safeguarding children and young people Able to build positive, professional relationships Applicants must already have the right to work in the UK.
