Experienced Residential & Commercial Fee Earner This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Residential & Commercial Fee Earner to join the growing property team of a well-established firm of solicitors based in Rotherham. The successful candidate will be confident managing their own varied caseload from initial instruction through to completion and post-completion, providing a professional, efficient and client-focused service. Location: Rotherham Office Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm Job Type: Full Time, Permanent Working Arrangement: Office Based with 1 day working from home for title checks and focused work Salary: Competitive The role will involve: Residential Conveyancing * Managing a varied residential conveyancing caseload from instruction through to completion * Handling freehold and leasehold sales and purchases * Managing re-mortgages, refinancing and bridging matters * Dealing with transfers of equity * Handling new build and more complex property transactions * Dealing with shared ownership matters * Reviewing title documentation, searches and enquiries * Dealing with lenders and mortgage requirements * Providing clear and practical advice to clients throughout the transaction * Liaising with clients, estate agents, lenders, solicitors and other third parties * Managing transactions through exchange, completion and post-completion Commercial Conveyancing * Managing a varied caseload of commercial property matters * Handling commercial freehold and leasehold sales and purchases * Drafting, reviewing and negotiating commercial leases * Dealing with lease renewals, assignments and variations * Acting for both landlords and tenants * Managing commercial property refinancing, including bridging * Liaising with lenders, agents, solicitors and other third parties * Managing matters from initial instruction through to completion and post-completion * Providing regular updates and maintaining strong client relationships * Supporting the continued growth and development of the firm's commercial property department The ideal candidate will: Have proven experience across both residential and commercial conveyancing Be confident managing their own caseload with minimal supervision Be organised, proactive and commercially minded Have excellent communication and client-care skills Be able to manage a busy workload effectively and work to deadlines Demonstrate a high level of professionalism and attention to detail Be committed to delivering a high-quality service to clients Highly advantageous, but not essential: Experience dealing with unregistered land Shared ownership experience New build experience An established referrer network/following Benefits include: 25 days holiday + Bank Holidays End-of-year bonus when targets are achieved 1 day working from home for title checks and focused work This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced conveyancer who is looking to join an established and growing firm and play an important role in the continued development of its Residential and Commercial Property teams.
