Job Title: Residential Conveyancing Legal Assistant Location: Merthyr Tydfil High Street Practice Salary: Competitive, DOE Job Type: Full-time, Permanent TSR Legal are delighted to be working with a well-established, busy high street law firm looking to expand its successful Residential Conveyancing team with the appointment of a Conveyancing Legal Assistant. This is an excellent opportunity to join a friendly and supportive team consisting of 4 Residential Conveyancers and 4 Legal Assistants, working collaboratively to provide a high-quality service to a loyal and longstanding client base. The Role As a Conveyancing Legal Assistant, you'll play a key role in supporting the conveyancing team with a varied caseload of residential property matters, ensuring transactions progress efficiently from instruction through to completion. Your responsibilities will include: Providing administrative and legal support to Residential Conveyancers Preparing contract packs and legal documentation Liaising with clients, estate agents, lenders and solicitors to provide updates throughout transactions Opening new files and carrying out compliance and anti-money laundering checks Requesting searches and managing incoming documentation Assisting with exchange and completion preparations Managing diaries, appointments and correspondence Ensuring case management systems are kept up to date and files are progressed efficiently About You Previous experience as a Conveyancing Legal Assistant, Legal Secretary or Conveyancing Paralegal is preferred A good understanding of the residential conveyancing process Excellent communication and client care skills Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise a busy workload High attention to detail and a proactive approach Comfortable working within a collaborative, fast-paced team environment What's on Offer?
