Company: RICS-regulated residential surveying firm

(London HQ)

Location: UK-wide, field-based — occasional visits to

Job Type: Full-time and part-time positions available

Salary: £50,000 - £80,000 (depending on experience) + £5,000 Car Allowance + Performance based Bonus

About Us

We're a RICS-regulated residential surveying firm

headquartered in London, with clients across the UK.

We're growing fast, driven by a strong pipeline of

instructions through our estate agent and

conveyancer partner network. We're now building a

nationwide team of surveyors to meet that demand.

You survey; we handle the rest. Our head office team

manages bookings, client communication, and admin,

and our digital platform keeps your diary, instructions,

and reports in one place — so your time goes into

inspections and reporting, not chasing paperwork.

The Role

You'll carry out residential surveys and valuations in your region, with a steady flow of instructions supplied by head office.

You'll manage your own diary within an agreed territory and coverage level, whether that's full-time or a few days a week.

This is a self-employed role. You'll hold your own professional indemnity insurance and provide your own equipment and survey software, with instructions, bookings, and client care handled by our head office.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Conducting RICS Home Survey Level 2 and Level 3 inspections on residential properties
  • Producing clear, accurate, client-friendly reports through our digital platform
  • Carrying out valuations for mortgage, probate, and private purposes (Registered Valuers)
  • Liaising with clients, estate agents, and lenders as required
  • Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of building regulations, RICS standards, and market conditions

What We're Looking For

Essential

  • MRICS or FRICS qualification, or AssocRICS with strong Level 2 experience
  • Proven experience conducting residential surveys
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Current professional indemnity insurance (or ability to obtain it)
  • Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel within your region
  • Self-motivated and organised, comfortable managing your own diary

Desirable

  • RICS Registered Valuer status (required for valuation instructions)
  • Experience with digital survey/booking platforms

What We Offer

  • £50,000 - £80,000 (depending on experience)
  • £5,000 Car Allowance
  • Performance based Bonus
  • Relocation package available
  • Genuine full-time or part-time flexibility — you set your coverage
  • Consistent instruction flow from our partner network — no business development required
  • Head office support for bookings, admin, and client care
  • A defined territory with autonomy over your own schedule

How to Apply

Send your CV with a short note covering your

experience, qualifications (including Registered Valuer

status if held), and the areas you cover. xwzovoh We review

applications on a rolling basis.
