Residential Support Worker

We are seeking an experienced Residential Support Worker to join our team. This is a rewarding opportunity to work in our specialist home in Lancing. The home offers a nurturing, homely, and safe environment for up to 5 children (aged 10-18) with emotional and behavioural difficulties. Believe in the children and their potential. Key Responsibilities: Build strong, positive, and meaningful relationships with children. Develop and implement individualised strength-based plans. Advocate for children, ensuring their voices are heard and respected. Support children in their educational, training, and employment aspirations. Facilitate and participate in hobbies, interests, and recreational activities. Ensure childrens health and well-being by managing appointments and liaising with healthcare professionals. Promote emotional and mental well-being through positive interactions and therapeutic practices. Maintain a safe, secure, and homely environment. Uphold safeguarding and protection protocols. Keep accurate, timely, and detailed records. Act as a role model, demonstrating best practices in childcare and professional conduct.
