We are looking for dedicated, compassionate, and resilient Residential Support Workers to join our established Children's Residential Home in Tamworth , supporting children and young people with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD) . This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a stable, supportive team where you can build meaningful relationships and make a lasting difference in the lives of young people. About the Role As a Residential Support Worker, you will provide high-quality, therapeutic care in a safe, nurturing, and structured environment. You will support young people to develop life skills, build positive relationships, improve emotional wellbeing, and achieve positive outcomes. You'll be involved in supporting education, attending appointments, encouraging hobbies and activities, preparing meals, completing daily records, and creating memorable experiences for the children in your care. Key Responsibilities Provide consistent, child-centred care and emotional support. Build positive and trusting relationships with children and young people. Safeguard and protect children, ensuring their welfare remains paramount. Participate in team meetings, training, and supervision. A genuine passion for working with children and young people. Ability to work flexibly, including sleep-ins, weekends, and bank holidays. Previous experience within children's residential care. Desirable: Full UK Driving Licence Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or willingness to work towards it). Knowledge of safeguarding, trauma-informed practice, and behaviour support.
