Road Freight Coordinator Trainee

We are currently recruiting for a Road Freight Coordinator Trainee to join a growing freight forwarding team.

Monday to Friday 9.00-17.30pm

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to start or develop a career in freight forwarding and European road freight. Full training will be provided, so previous freight experience is not essential.

The role:

• Coordinate European road freight imports and exports
• Liaise with customers, hauliers and overseas agents
• Arrange collections, deliveries and customs clearance
• Prepare and check transport documentation
• Track shipments and keep customers updated
• Assist with quotations, invoices and general administration
• Learn about European freight, customs and international logistics

• Organised with good attention to detail
• Confident communicator
• Good administration and IT skills
• Able to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
• Positive, reliable and keen to learn
• Previous office, customer service, transport or logistics experience is an advantage but not essential
