Job Description

Roadside Technician (Nights)Location: Milton Keynes and the broader surrounding areasPay / salary: Base: £42,920 plus overtime (£26 per hour) and bonus enabling earnings in excess of £65,000 PAJob type: Permanent / Full time roleShift and schedule for the Roadside Technician role40 hours per week between 6pm and 6am, Monday to Sunday.

All hours start and stop from home, as soon as you start the van.Benefits for the for the Roadside Technician roleOvertime 300 overtime hours per year equates to an extra £12,000 per annum.Bonus scheme.31 days plus bank holidays (rising to 33 with service).Up to 6.5% matched pension contributions.Life Insurance cover up to 4x your salary.Access to a broad range of career progression opportunities and industry leading training.Colleague share scheme.Car salary sacrifice scheme? includes electric vehicle options after 12 months.Wellbeing support?24/7.Free breakdown cover for your household.Job Responsibilities for the Roadside Technician roleAttend roadside breakdowns and assess vehicle faults quickly and accurately.Carry out mechanical and electrical repairs at the roadside, including battery replacements, wheel changes, and minor engine fixes.Use diagnostic tools to identify issues and determine repair options.Provide temporary solutions when full repair isnt possible, ensuring member mobility.Advise members clearly on next steps, including recovery if needed.Work safely and efficiently in varied environments and conditions.What youll need to a be considered for the Roadside Technician roleMust have a minimum of Level 2 in light vehicle maintenance and repair or ideally Level 3 light vehicle maintenance and repair qualification (City & Guilds, IMI, NVQ, or equivalent)Must have a minimum 2-year post-qualification hands on experience with vehicles.

Either in a workshop or mobile vehicle type role.A customer-focused approachMust have right to work in the UK status.Must have a full UK driving licence
