Alma Medical Centre is a well-established, friendly training practice serving approximately 10,500 patients.

We are a Deep End practice, committed to delivering high-quality, patient-centred care to our local community while recognising the challenges and rewards that come with this work.

Main duties of the job

The Role

You'll provide high-quality, patient-centred primary care within a supportive team environment.

Your role will include:

  • Routine and urgent GP consultations
  • Long-term condition management
  • Home visits on a shared basis
  • Participation in the duty doctor rota
  • Managing clinical correspondence, referrals and prescriptions
  • Supporting quality improvement and clinical governance
  • Working collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team
  • Teaching opportunities for those with an interest in education

  • GMC Registration with Licence to Practise
  • Inclusion on the NHS Performers List
  • MRCGP
  • CCT or equivalent, and eligibility to practise independently in the UK
