Main duties of the job

As a Symphony GP, you will undertake the full range of clinical responsibilities expected of a GP in primary care, while avoiding many of the financial and operational risks associated with partnership. This allows you to focus on what matters most: delivering excellent patient care and developing your career.

Unlike traditional GP partnerships, all of our GPs are employed, providing the security and benefits of employment alongside the flexibility and professional fulfilment of working within a modern, innovative primary care organisation.

At Symphony, we are committed to putting patients first. Our GPs work collaboratively across the service and have opportunities to contribute to a wide variety of initiatives.

This creates a rewarding and varied role, with opportunities to shape the future of primary care. For those earlier in their GP career, we provide a clearly defined job plan outlining expected hours, responsibilities and key duties, ensuring the support and structure needed to thrive.

If you would like an informal conversation about our GP opportunities, please contact our People Services team at [email protected].

Join Symphony and be part of a supportive, forward-thinking organisation where you can build the career you want while making a real difference to the communities we serve.
