Main duties of the job
- Up to 8 clinical sessions available plus 1 CPD session (pro rata to WTE)
- 37.5-hour working week (WTE)
- Annual DDRB uplift applied when implemented
Clinical Session Structure
Each 4 hour 10 minute clinical session includes:
- 12 booked appointments (AM) or 13 booked appointments (PM)
- 40 minutes protected workload management time
- Fair-share home visiting commitment
- Protected administration time
We recognise the realities of modern General Practice and have designed our sessions to support safe, effective consulting and sustainable workloads.

- Team members work across both sites
- Shared GP on-call rota with clinical decision support from a GP colleague at the alternate site
- Saturday enhanced-hours rota approximately 1 in 12 (9am - 1pm)
- Optional additional evening enhanced-hours sessions available
- Enhanced-hours work paid separately at an enhanced hourly rate

Person specification
Qualifications
Essential
- Medical degree GMC registration and inclusion on the GP register Completion of GP training and CCT (Certificate of Completion of Training) Eligibility to work in the UK
Experience
Essential
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Working with a Multidisciplinary medical team
Desirable
- Knowledge of local clinical pathways
- Working with a Multidisciplinary medical team Working in GP practice
