Job summary

We are looking for someone who genuinely wants to be a partner, & brings with them the excitement, enthusiasm & drive to help us continue to build our team.

We are incredibly fortunate to have an experienced team of clinical & non-clinical staff, all with real devotion to what they do, & desire to work as a team. And we want YOU to join us!!!

To start with a 4 session salaried GP with a structured induction and development plan towards partnership (6-9 months)

Main duties of the job

As we are looking for a salaried GP to progress to partner in a short time frame, initially we are looking at 4 clinical sessions & an additional admin & prescription allocation. (this will enable our future new partner to start to suss out how to improve on our current systems!)

As a GP Partner you will be both a clinician and a business owner. You will hold clinical governance accountability, strategic leadership responsibility, financial and property ownership, and shared risk for the entire practice. Enthusiastic contributions to clinical quality, CQC compliance, leadership, strategic planning, PCN engagement, and practice stability

About us

We are a circa 10,800 patient training practice, in a purpose built building, with a strong governance culture, a supportive multidisciplinary team; and a commitment to safe, sustainable general practice. Our partners work closely with our Practice Manager and leadership team to maintain a calm, organised environment where clinicians can thrive. Dorridge Surgery carries a strong tradition in maintaining clinical and educational development.

We have an incredible team made up of currently 2 partners, Salaried GPs, Clinical Pharmacists, First Contact Physio, Prescribing Paramedic, and an experienced nursing team with diabetic and respiratory specialisms.

As a successful training practice, almost all our GPs, including partners, have trained with us, which we find testament to the quality of teaching, and the family and supportive culture we have nurtured for many years.

We are a total triage practice going on over 2 years now, and our patients love it.

Our Friends & Family rating is consistently 95 percent and above positive, and we regularly get 250 to 300 responses to FFT every month.
