Urban Life is seeking a highly motivated and structured Sales and Closing Manager to join our growing management team. This newly created position will serve as the critical link between legal professionals, estate agents, site management, and clients to ensure the seamless execution of property transactions and handovers.

Position Overview

• Position Title: Sales and Closing Manager

Location: Bathgate, West Lothian, Scotland (Hybrid / flexible home-working options available)

Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00 to 17:00 (Flexibility considered)

Remuneration: Competitive, dependent on skills and experience

This role was previously managed from our Ireland headquarters but has been localised to Scotland to better support our regional growth.

Principal Responsibilities

The successful candidate will report directly to the Company Director and act as the primary liaison between all external and internal stakeholders.

Key duties include:

• Facilitate property sales from reservation to completion by coordinating closely with solicitors, estate agents, and internal departments.

Manage documentation compliance to ensure all required certificates, legal paperwork, and handover packs are finalised ahead of schedule.

Collaborate on pricing and technical execution of client variations by liaising with Quantity Surveyors, Site Managers, and estate agents.

Represent the brand as the primary corporate contact during final customer meetings and the official handover of keys.

Oversee quality control by conducting rigorous site inspections throughout the construction phase, monitoring trade standards, and managing the final snagging process.

Candidate Profile

We are seeking a proactive, self-motivated professional who thrives in a dynamic environment and excels at relationship management.

Key Qualifications and Skills:

• Industry Experience: A proven background in residential construction, property sales, or estate agency is highly desirable. Complementary experience in corporate customer service or interior design is advantageous.

Operational Autonomy: Demonstrated ability to work independently as a self-starter, while collaborating effectively within a broader management structure.

Communication & Resilience: Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to remain calm, professional, and patient under pressure, particularly when resolving complex customer inquiries or complaints.

Technical Knowledge: Strong literacy in the legal terminology and administrative processes associated with the UK home-buying journey.

Organisation: Superb administrative capabilities with a keen eye for detail and the capacity to process high volumes of information accurately.
