Sales & Commercial Coordinator | Smethwick | £28k–£32k
Are you a natural salesperson who loves talking to people, asking questions and spotting an opportunity? If you’re curious, persuasive and commercially minded, this could be a really good move for you.
We’re working with an established manufacturing business in Smethwick that is looking for a Sales & Commercial Coordinator to join their team. This isn’t a role where you’ll just sit behind a desk processing orders - you’ll have genuine involvement in the commercial side of the business and work closely with the CEO and Sales team.
You’ll be dealing with customers across the UK and internationally, helping turn enquiries into quotes, quotes into orders and opportunities into sales.
Benefits
£28,000–£32,000 depending on experience
Monday–Thursday: 8am–5pm, Friday: 8am–12:30pm
22 days’ holiday + bank holidays + birthday off
Pension + death in service

Location: Smethwick Duties/Responsibilities
Speaking to customers, understanding what they need and finding the right solution.
Preparing and following up quotations.
Identifying new sales opportunities and helping convert them.
Building strong customer relationships.
Coordinating orders from enquiry through to delivery.
Working with Warehousing, Production, Technical, Purchasing and Aftersales to get things moving.
Supporting international customers with freight and shipping.
Keeping on top of CRM activity and making sure opportunities don’t go cold.
Working directly with the CEO and senior management on commercial priorities. Skills/Experience required:
We’re looking for someone who comes from sales and genuinely enjoys the commercial side of the job.
Naturally inquisitive – you ask questions and want to understand the customer.
Persuasive and confident – you can influence people without being pushy.
Commercially switched-on and able to spot an opportunity.
Comfortable picking up the phone and having conversations with customers.
Organised and able to juggle multiple opportunities at once.
Proactive – you’ll chase things up rather than wait for someone else.
Ideally experienced with quotations, orders or B2B sales. Previous Sales experience is essential. Manufacturing or technical sales would be a bonus, but full product training is provided.
This is a great opportunity to join an established business, work closely with senior management and get real exposure to an international commercial operation.
If you’re someone who likes talking to people, asking questions, winning people over and getting things done — we want to hear from you
