Sales Assistant

Pay: £12.86 per hour Job Description: Trade Counter Assistant Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 4:30pm Contract: Temp to Perm Pay: Competitive hourly rate Proactive Personnel are currently recruiting for a Trade Counter Assistant to join a well-established and growing business based in Bromborough. This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic and customer-focused individual looking to develop a long-term career within a supportive team environment. This role is initially being offered on a temporary basis with the opportunity to become permanent for the right candidate. Key Responsibilities * Providing excellent customer service to visitors and trade customers * Operating the till system, including scanning products and processing transactions * Handling cash and electronic payments accurately * Assisting customers with enquiries and product purchases * Maintaining a clean, tidy and organised trade counter area * Supporting with general warehouse housekeeping during quieter periods * Collecting and disposing of packaging materials such as cardboard and wrapping * Working independently and taking ownership of daily tasks The Ideal Candidate * Strong customer service and communication skills * Organised and self-motivated approach to work * Comfortable handling cash and processing payments * Positive attitude with a willingness to learn * Able to work both independently and as part of a team * Happy to assist with warehouse duties when required * Reliable, energetic and personable * Previous retail, trade counter or customer service experience would be advantageous but is not essential What's on Offer? * Monday to Friday working hours * No weekend work * Temp-to-perm opportunity * Supportive working environment * Opportunity to secure a permanent position with a growing company If you are a motivated individual with a strong work ethic and enjoy delivering excellent customer service, we would love to hear from you
