Our client is looking for an experienced Sales leader to join their business as a sector specialist and grow revenue through business development and effective team leadership.

As leaders in the provision of physical security solutions, our client provides a range of products to a large customer base. We are looking for a sales professional that has a proven ability to drive a high-performance culture across a team, you will equip the team to execute the sales strategy effectively and increase market share in this space.

Key responsibilities:

  • Manage the recruitment of high potential sales professionals for your team
  • Inspire a high-performance culture.
  • Drive sales performance through the right metrics and key daily activities
  • Set the vision to exceed sales target expectations.
  • Map existing customers, understand their potential and how to unlock it, as well as identify opportunities to upsell where possible.
  • Develop new business, targeting new customers.
  • Keeping track of market trends related to products and services, along with short and long-term tactics and goals.
  • Supporting the sales team on customer meetings to offer advice and skills development where needed
  • Guide and advise on Tender opportunities, review the tendering team process, identifying, educating and implementing a “no-bid” strategy if not commercially viable
  • No compromise on the delivery of exceptional customer service and working successfully across functions to ensure this
  • Provide regular reports on sales performance and customer accounts
  • Experience in a sales leadership role selling into the renewables and utilities industry is essential
  • A proven track record in driving high performance in sales teams
  • The ability to influence key stakeholders both internally and externally
  • Strong leadership experience
  • Experience in managing performance in sales teams
  • Excellent communication skills at all levels internally and externally
  • Commercial acumen
  • An ability to manage sales numbers
